Harbord Diggers Redevelopment, Freshwater, NSW

Sectors: Retirement Living & Hospitality

Mounties | Completed 2019

Role: Project Director (Slattery)

Provision of full cost management services for the redevelopment of the Harbord Diggers precinct.

The project comprises a large scale mixed-use redevelopment including a licensed club, hospitality facilities, aquatic centre, gym, childcare and 96 residential apartments across six buildings, forming an intergenerational community hub.

The design responds to its prominent coastal headland setting, integrating the built form into the natural topography to minimise visual impact while maximising views, permeability and connection to the surrounding environment.

The precinct is organised around a central courtyard and ocean terrace, with public domain connections linking to Freshwater and the coastal edge, creating a highly connected and activated development.

Works were delivered within a complex staged environment, requiring coordination with existing operations and integration across multiple building typologies.
